California could lose America’s Got Talent after 21 seasons
America's Got Talent may be on the move for season 22 — the bigger question is where it might land.
After 21 seasons of taping in and around Los Angeles, America’s Got Talent is actively eyeing a move out of California. According to TMZ, producers are exploring new homes for the show’s next cycle, with Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee, in the mix for Season 22.

The speculation around AGT intensified after American Idol confirmed it ’s leaving Los Angeles to film in Georgia. Both series are produced by Fremantle (AGT is co-produced with Syco), making Idol’s relocation a notable signal about where AGT could land next.
AGT airs on NBC. No official decision has been announced on a new filming location; for now, producers are still scouting and weighing options, per the report.
