Brooks Nader is not exactly easing her way into the Baywatch reboot. She is cutting back on late nights, training hard, and getting sentimental about a certain red swimsuit — all while scooping up a shiny fashion honor in Beverly Hills.

On Tuesday, April 14, at The Daily Front Row's 10th annual Fashion Awards — sponsored by DAOU Vineyards — Nader, 29, hit the Beverly Hills Hotel in a sparkling Halston dress from 1997 and walked out with the Breakthrough Fashion Talent award. Chrissy Teigen, a close friend, did the presenting. Nader's crew turned up too: sisters Mary Holland Nader and Sarah Jane Nader, plus proud parents Holland and Breaux Nader, who were exactly as beaming as you would expect. Nader admitted she got teary when she first learned she was being honored, and called the recognition extra special since The Daily Front Row gave her her first cover.

Nader is in full lifeguard boot camp for the Baywatch reboot. She says she has tightened up her day-to-day: eating cleaner, skipping parties more than usual, and putting in the gym time while taking care of the whole mind-body thing. Her words for this phase: a new era, and a good one.
"Every time I put it on every single day, even if it's 4 a.m., I still well up a little, and I'm like, 'Let's do this!'"
