Bonus Dune: Part Three scene leads Dune: Part One and Two’s big-screen return
With a month to go, Dune: Part Three is stirring the hype again with another tease.

IMAX brings Dune: Part One and Part Two back Nov. 13–17 with a Part Three sneak peek.
The new preview promises a first look at the film ’s 19-year time jump and, per the studio’s tease, is expected to highlight some major story turns. Here’s what’s on deck in the footage:
- Paul Atreides’ descent into a brutal galactic dictatorship
- Chani aligning with the shape-shifting Scytale
- The return of a resurrected Duncan Idaho
The final chapter
Director Denis Villeneuve has framed Dune: Part Three as the culmination of his self-contained, three-film arc. Unlike the more expansive war epics of the first two movies, this chapter is described as a tighter psychological political thriller, focused on the dark mechanics—and internal collapse—of absolute power.
Tickets for the North American IMAX re-release go on sale Friday, Oct. 30, 2026 .
