Ashley Iaconetti Shuts Down Nose Job Rumors—Here’s the Real Reason Her Nose Looks Smaller
Ashley Iaconetti, the 38-year-old Real Housewives of Rhode Island star, shuts down plastic-surgery rumors, tackling the chatter about her appearance during a fan Q&A on the Friday, May 8 episode of her podcast Almost Famous with cohost Ben Higgins.
If you thought Ashley Iaconetti quietly got a new nose, she wants you to know that is not what happened. On her 'Almost Famous' podcast, she went point-by-point on what she has and hasn’t done — and yes, she got very specific.
Ashley says no to a nose job
During a Q&A on the Friday, May 8 episode of 'Almost Famous,' which she cohosts with Ben Higgins, the 38-year-old Bachelor Nation alum shut down the rhinoplasty rumors and said she’s never had plastic surgery. She also added she’s never even been under anesthesia.
'I’ve never had plastic surgery.'
So what does she actually do?
- Lip filler: about once a year for roughly 11 years, starting before Bachelor in Paradise
- Botox in her forehead: about every five months — she joked her forehead feels 'trained' now
- Masseter (jaw) Botox: about once a year
- Chin filler: a go-to for the past seven years
- Cheek filler: not really her thing
Why her nose looks different to some people
Ashley said old photos make her nose look wider, but she insists it ’s natural. She pointed to two things: age and acne meds. She thinks her nose has simply slimmed with time, and she floated the idea that certain acne treatments might play a role. She started Spironolactone at 24 and noticed a change after that. Not exactly peer-reviewed science, but it’s her experience.
She also brought up her family ’s history with nose jobs — her sister, aunt, and one grandma all had them. Her other grandma skipped it, is 102, and, as Ashley put it, did not end up with a tiny nose. Translation: if Ashley wanted a rhinoplasty, it clearly runs in the family, but she says she didn’t get one.
The Kendall Jenner comparison
Ashley referenced Kendall Jenner as the example everyone cites in these conversations. Jenner, 30, has also pushed back on rhinoplasty rumors. Back in January on the 'In Your Dreams' podcast, Kendall said she’s only had two rounds of baby Botox in her forehead and that’s it. She said she grew into her nose — it looked wider when she was younger — and mentioned she took Accutane, noting there’s a TikTok theory that acne meds can make your nose look smaller. She even admitted that if she weren’t herself, she might believe the nose job rumors too, but urged young fans not to sprint to surgery over it.
Bottom line
Ashley’s stance is clear: no surgery, some strategic injectables, and a belief that age (and maybe acne medication) shifted how her nose looks in photos. Make of the acne-meds-shrink-your-nose theory what you will, but she’s not claiming a secret trip under the knife.
