Ariana Grande joins Ben Stiller, Robert de Niro in ‘Focker-In-Law’

Before the save-the-dates even go out, Jack Byrnes already has a dossier. In Focker-in-Law, Ariana Grande steps into the chaos as Olivia Jones — a former FBI hostage negotiator engaged to Henry Focker — and instantly becomes the new focus of the family ’s famous “circle of trust.” Jack’s antennae are up, Greg’s nerves aren’t far behind, and the next Focker wedding looks like anything but a soft landing.

Director John Hamburg is steering the fourth entry in the Meet the Parents franchise, picking up years after Greg and Pam’s rocky introductions turned into a uniquely intense family tradition. The setup this time: Henry brings home a fiancée who’s used to pressure, which only raises the stakes for a clan that treats Sunday dinner like an interrogation room.

Opens November 25, 2026.

The baton passes to the kids here, with fresh faces taking over the Focker twins and the OGs circling the buffet table. Skyler Gisondo plays Henry, whose proposal kicks off the story, and Beanie Feldstein is Samantha, his fraternal twin — both roles aged up from Little Fockers’ child actors. Meanwhile, Greg finds himself in a new spot: the protective dad who suddenly sounds a lot like his father-in-law.

Cast and characters

• Robert De Niro — Jack Byrnes, the retired CIA patriarch whose surveillance instincts never retired
• Ben Stiller — Greg Focker, now a dad watching his own son face the Byrnes family gauntlet
• Teri Polo — Pam Focker, trying to keep the peace as tradition collides with a new generation
• Blythe Danner — Dina Byrnes, still the warm counterweight to Jack’s intensity
• Owen Wilson — Kevin Rawley, Pam’s effortlessly charming ex who always complicates a Focker gathering
• Skyler Gisondo — Henry Focker, Greg and Pam’s son (previously played as a kid by Colin Baiocchi)
• Beanie Feldstein — Samantha Focker, Henry’s fraternal twin (taking over from Daisy Tahan)
• Ariana Grande — Olivia Jones, Henry’s fiancée and a former FBI hostage negotiator who won’t spook easily
• Eduardo Franco — role under wraps

Grande’s Olivia isn’t walking into this unarmed: years of crisis training should make her a tougher read for Jack’s tactics, which is exactly why he’s keyed up. Add Kevin Rawley breezing back in with that disarming smile, and the family reunion has its classic third-rail energy baked in.

Focker-in-Law follows Meet the Parents (2000), Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010), and brings the saga into its next phase with the kids at the altar and the elders watching — closely. The holiday corridor return is set for November 25, 2026.
