The Bear Season 4: Plot, Release Date & Everything We Know About the Upcoming Chapter

The third season of The Bear was released on June 26, 2024 and ended with several cliffhangers, leaving fans in a painful wait for the next chapter.
We tell you everything we know about the next part of the story of Carmy and his team of chefs: what the next season will be about, who will star in it and when we can expect its release.
The Bear Season 4 Release Date
The third season ended on a cliffhanger – and this was initially explained by the fact that Season 4 was being filmed in parallel, so that the wait for the next episodes would not be so long.
Later, it turned out that this was not entirely true: Jeremy Allen White said that the writers filmed part of the fourth season, but the remaining episodes were not shot until early 2025.
There is no release date for the fourth season. But FX producer John Landgraf promised back in October 2024 that the upcoming season would be ready at the same time next year.
This probably means that the release is planned for the summer, as the last season was released in June 2024. The first and second seasons were also released in the first month of summer.
The Bear Season 4 Storyline
Little is known about the plot of the new season. But actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach confirmed that the fourth season will start where the third one ended. So we will probably find out what kind of review the Chicago Tribune published and see how the team reacts to it and maybe changes something in their work.
In the teaser released by the FX channel, you can see Richie angrily hitting a newspaper on the table. Whether this is a reaction to the negative review remains to be seen.
In the fourth season, Sydney's dilemma should also be resolved: whether to stay at the Bear or not. If the sous-chef decides to leave for a new restaurant, we may see a confrontation between two chefs: Carmy and his apprentice.
The Bear Season 4 Cast & Guest Stars
No casting announcements have been made yet, but the teaser suggests that the main cast – Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie, and more – will be back for season four.
It's safe to say that there will likely be some star cameos as well. Season 3 of The Bear featured John Cena, Josh Hartnett and Will Poulter, as well as real-life chefs Thomas Keller, Christina Tosi and more.
In previous seasons, the show's cast has included Bob Odenkirk, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sarah Paulson. It's hard to imagine that The Bear's creators wouldn't want to add a few more star names to the cast.
