At 50, Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure is over the moon to finally enter her grandmother era, celebrating daughter Natasha’s pregnancy after years of hoping to be a young grandma.

For anyone keeping tabs on the Fuller House-to-grandma pipeline: Candace Cameron Bure just punched her ticket, and she is extremely here for it.

The reveal

Natasha Bure, 27, and her husband Bradley Steven Perry, 27, shared the news first with a joint Instagram post on Thursday, May 7: "Our dream role 🐣." Candace slid into the comments with: "CandyGram in full effect 🤗❤️."

Candace on entering the grandma era

A few days later, during a Tuesday, May 12 Instagram Stories Q&A, Candace, who turned 50 this year, said exactly how she feels about the next chapter:

"Over the moon. I have been waiting for this day to come. I always wanted to be a grandparent in my 40s - but on my 50th year is perfect!!"

The 'Candy Gram' agenda (and the family group chat politics)

If you have been following Candace for a while, the grandma nickname should not be a shock. Back in November 2024, she told Us Weekly that she had already called dibs on "Candy Gram" for whenever grandkids arrived. She was chatting then about son Lev, now 26, and his wife Elliot Dunham, making it clear she was not rushing anyone, just planning ahead. Not everyone in the house was sold on the bit - Candace joked that Lev preferred she keep it simple with "Grandma Candace." Still, she has been defending the pick and hoping to be the fun grandma when the time comes. Honestly, as celebrity-grandparent branding goes, Candy Gram is not a bad swing.

Mother 's Day turned into a full-blown Candy Gram rollout

By Sunday, May 10, Natasha had fully embraced the moniker. In a Mother's Day tribute on Instagram, she called her mom the "best Candygram ever" and shared a throwback of the two of them. Another slide showed Candace kissing her daughter's baby bump with the caption: "Already the best Candygram to little baby P!! We love you so much."

Bradley celebrated his wife's first Mother's Day too, posting photos of Natasha cradling her bump on a Paris trip and writing: "Baby is so loved already. Happy Mother's Day to the soon-to-be best mom ever. I love you so much."
